This policy applies to products purchased from the website www.overboard.co.nz

You can exchange or return any item within 30 days of receiving the item, if the item is in its original condition - unused, in original packaging with the original tags still attached.

Please note: returns MUST be sent via courier. Due to a change in NZ Post processes, any returns sent to our address via their standard tracked service will be returned to sender. Upgrading to a courier service is required.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR RETURNING AN ITEM?

Our returns and refunds policy makes returning unwanted products as easy as it is to buy them. We are confident that you will be completely satisfied with your purchase however, there may be the odd occasion that you have to return your product to us. We have made this process as easy and stress free as possible for you as providing excellent customer service is our main priority.

WHO COVERS THE COST OF RETURN SHIPPING?

Each customer will be responsible for the cost of return charges to us unless the item is deemed to have a manufacturing fault, or received a different item to what was ordered. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will not be reimbursed. If your item is deemed to have a minor or major fault, we will refund you the cost of the return postage costs up-to the value of $10.

The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure your return is packaged well and won't get damaged in transit.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO EXCHANGE MY ITEM FOR A DIFFERENT PRODUCT?

Yes, you can exchange your item for a different product, provided it’s unused, in its original packaging, and returned within 30 days of delivery.

Simply email support@overboard.co.nz with your order number and the details of the product you’d like instead, and our team will arrange the exchange for you.

Any price difference will be refunded or charged accordingly.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE A GIFT ORDER?

Yes, gift orders can be returned or exchanged, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and the return is requested within 30 days of delivery.

If you received an item as a gift and would like to return or exchange it, please email support@overboard.co.nz with the order details (if available), and our team will guide you through the process.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND AFTER RETURNING AN ITEM?

Once we receive your returned item, we aim to process your refund on the same day.

After the refund is processed, it may take3–5 working daysto appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

If you haven’t received your refund after this time, please contact us atsupport@overboard.co.nzand we’ll look into it for you.

MY REFUND HASN’T ARRIVED YET—WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Refunds usually take 3–5 working days to appear in your account after we process them.

If that time has passed and you still haven’t received your refund, please check with your bank or payment provider first. If there’s still no update, contact us atsupport@overboard.co.nzwith your order details, and we’ll investigate it right away.

WHAT IF MY OVERBOARD PRODUCT IS FAULTY?

In the rare event that your OverBoard product arrives faulty or develops a fault over time, we have a fair and straightforward faulty goods policy.

Please email a photo of the issue along with a brief description to support@overboard.co.nz.

If the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, we’ll send you a brand new replacement—simple as that.

Testing can take up to 5 working days, but we’ll aim to get back to you as quickly as possible with an outcome.

CAN I RETURN AN ITEM WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING?

To be eligible for a return, items should be unused and ideally in their original packaging.

If you no longer have the original packaging, please contact us at support@overboard.co.nz with your order number and details. We’ll assess your return on a case-by-case basis and let you know how best to proceed.
